It feels like plasto paper or waxed while touching but its Sturdy Polyester which is used to make garlands. BUILT UP: The garlands are loosely threaded/stringed generally. The overall density of the garland can be adjusted by user as per the requirement. These garlands are mostly preferred in loose threaded OR stringed form as its easier to accessorize the garlands with other floral items for decorations. However, to make these denser, user can simply pull the thread lightly to make the fabric parts closer. This gives denser look to the garland and thus reducing length.
